  • VIRTUAL SCHOOL UPDATE!!

Open enrollment for the Houston County Virtual School is now available through December 10th. If you are currently a virtual student you will still need to fill out the application for the second semester to be eligible. Our platform has changed and new requirements will be necessary. All students must have a device that allows for video access throughout the school day. If there are multiple students within your house, each student will need an acceptable device. Students that were not working consistently during the first semester will not be eligible for virtual classes in Houston County Schools. Students and parents will be required to attend a face-to-face orientation. Failure to attend the orientation will result in withdrawal from virtual school.

Students in grades K-6 will be taught by a virtual teacher from Houston County Schools. This will be live instruction during the school day. Students in grades 7-12 will be using Edgenuity as the learning platform. More information will be provided at the orientation. Dates and times of the orientation will be available at a later date.
